Stafff Folleeez is
a Big Success
|

“Raising
spirits, raising funds” and “putting the fun in fundraising” were the goals.
Both were met.
On Saturday, November 18, over 100 School District 16 staff members donned silly outfits
and valiantly performed in assorted family-friendly skits, sketches, and
attempts at humor to raise money for the Panther Foundation.
The Stafff Folleeez event ultimately entertained an enthusiastic audience
of 600 and raised over $2,200.

The
recipient of the staff generosity, the Panther Foundation, is a community non-profit
organization that raises funds and awards grants to enrich the educational
experiences of District 16 students. In its first two
years, the Foundation has awarded 26 grants totaling over $33,000 and raised an
additional $20,000 in "Fund-a-Dream" projects to benefit student.

District
faculty and staff, administrators and principals, and the school board as well
were Stafff Folleeez stars, bravely performing as Swan
Lake swans, the seven
dwarfs, Elvis, and contestants in shows including American Idol, Deal or No
Deal, and Hollywood Squares.
If you didn’t get to the Folleeez (or if you
did) you can enjoy the fun again and again and make a contribution to the Panther
Foundation. For a donation of
only $10.00, you can have own your own two-hour 2006 Stafff
Folleeez DVD.
It’s a great stocking stuffer.
